Our class has been inspired by stomp out loud to create music through the bouncing of basketballs.

Our class singing Hotumauea

This term our class has been practising singing Hotumauea here is our first attempt for a live audience.

Our Soundscapes

As a class we watched videos, where we isolated sounds. Then we listened to a poem on winter and we re-enacted this with percussion instruments as our own soundscape.

Famine

We carried buckets of water on our heads. The challenge was to see how much water we had left at the end of the race. The purpose of this was to understand how precious water is, and how difficult transportation of such valuable resources, make everyday a struggle in countries such as Mali.

Sound Experiments

This is our class experiment on changing pitch through the use of straws, as the children cut their straws the pitch went higher.
